ICSpark began in 2019 with a desire to offer college student-lead coding programs to youth.
ICSpark is a Registered Independent Organization (RIO) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Although the registered organization has members who are University of Hawaii students, the registered organization is independent of the University and does not represent the views of the University. The registered organization is responsible for its own contracts, acts, or omissions.
We are part of a Technology Outreach Hawaii (TORCH), a 501c3 non-profit organization promoting technology education in Hawaii.
Our mission is to provide every motivated 6th - 12th grade student with a fun, nonintimidating coding environment and access to coding mentorship.
